Not wood. More like a thick cardboard. Corner was broke and you can’t tell till you take the plastic wrap off holding it together.

Poor quality for the cost
The frame is very flimsy. I picked it up by the center of the frame & it flexed in the middle & pulled the picture out of the tabs. I finally put hooks inside on the top & bottom & stretched a wire to keep the frame from flexing. Nice looking though.

I bought 4 picture frames and not one of them never came damage great job. I will always take my work to hobby lobby to get a framed
Plastic
Purchased 2 in store not realizing it was plastic instead of glass.. thinking nothing of it I hung them up and it completely distorts the prints I put in. It’s like a mirror, do not recommend
